Watch free the last airbender episodes. People who compare it with the series cannot appreciate this movie. As far as me this is awesome with the effects and everything. Cool movie worth watching.
I don"t like watching cartoon based series but after watching this movie, I would appreciate if someone converted the Cartoon series into real tv series with people or atleast few movies based on the Cartoon series.

This movie is The Ember Island Players. Totally botched the series and characters. Am I so glad I never saw this movie. When I was a kid, I remember my favorite episode was when Aang turned into Giant Bear Water, and Episode with Ba Sing Se became my less favorite episode because it had less Appa and less bending, but much talking... Kids love something funny, silly, bending, power, imagination, I guess... Just my opinion. For now, I agree with yours. But When I was a kid, It"s different.

Long ago, the thirty or so nations watched Avatar: The Last Airbender in harmony. Then, everything changed when M Night Shyamalan attacked. Only an unheard of director & studio, masters of all areas of good adaptation to film, could stop him. But just when the world needed them most, they didn"t appear. Two years passed, and my fellow fans and I discovered the new addition to the avatar series - a waterbender named Korra. Though her ability to be better than this film is great, she has a lot to learn before she"s ready to be as good as the first series. But I believe Korra can make us forget the film and save the franchise.

The trailer was better then the movie tbh. Then everything changed when the Shyamalan Nation attacked. I remember watching The Last Airbender in theaters when I was 9. Throughout the movie, I kept whispering to my dad What"s even going on. It was after this movie where my crippling depression executed and the slope began. Two of the main characters were mis-cast. that being Katara and Sokka... these two actors do not live up to their parts... if anything there should have been a Asian/Hawaiian/Eskimoan with blue eyes playing Kataras part (even if it meant bringing in a no-namer. and Sokka"s character just had no chemistry. I love the actor Jackson for the Twilight series... just not for the Last AirBender. -The narration by Katara put full focus on her... and you just noticed that she just was NOT THAT ONE! Aang and Zuko were cast perfectly. If they don"t get the casting right perfectly next movie (change Katara and Sokka ASAP) the next movie will BOMB. Aangs character will get better with more acting classes... He has potential. He"s a keeper.
